The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is a national interdisciplinary honor society. The primary objective of Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the recognition and encouragement of superior scholarship in all academic disciplines. The Oregon State University Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi was chartered in 1924. The members of the OSU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi come from all academic disciplines. All faculty and staff who have joined Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in the past are members of the chapter. Each year about 200 new student members join the chapter.
