OSU PKP Chapter: Now accepting 2019 Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards applications

Oregon State University Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi is now accepting applications for following Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2019

For students:

  • Tunison Undergraduate Scholarship Application
    • All Junior and Senior Phi Kappa Phi initiates, with at least one to three additional quarters to complete at OSU, are invited to apply. The OSU Chapter-level scholarships are to be used for senior year tuition at OSU. The primary criterion for selection of recipients is scholarly achievement.
  • Graduate Fellowship
    • National Phi Kappa Phi Fellowship Program currently awards annually fifty Fellowships of $8,500 each, six at $20,000 each, and two at $35,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study at accredited institutions of higher learning. The fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis for senior year graduate students going for first-year graduate or professional study.

For Faculty

  • Emerging Scholar Award
    • The OSU chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi has established the Emerging Scholar Faculty Award in order to recognize non-tenured faculty for outstanding research or creative activity in his or her field of study. This award is open to faculty in the early stages of their professional careers. The award consists of a plaque and first year membership dues to both the local OSU Chapter and the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

The awardees will be announced at the Annual initiation banquet on April 10, 2019, 6-8:30pm, Alumni Center.
